English Golf Captains


A close fought contest saw the English Golf Captains beat the Society of Liverpool Golf Captains 7 matches to 5 in the first match between the two teams. Notible performances were from Alistair Booth and Moortown Golf Club Vice Captain Richard Brown who won 7/6 and Simon Whitham and Des Robbins who won by 4 and 2 which included 8 birdies.

The English Golf Captains would like to thank Moortwon Golf Club for a most enjoyable day and for presenting the course in such wonderful condition.
